I am a retired male social anthropologist (MA) and folklorist (PhD), born in Nova Scotia in the early 1950's, with roots in Cape Breton and PEI. I've lived in eastern Canada, from Newfoundland to southwest Ontario. I also write, tell stories, sing, and play Cape Breton, old-time, and blues music.
