I love the art of cinema, the ability to tell a story through the medium of film. I especially enjoy seeing how different cultures interpret everything from love and romance to horror, suspense, and drama in their movies. You could call me a "cinematic omnivore"! I go by "Nursebob_0" on Bby site.
I'll watch just about any genre of film but when it comes to reading I prefer science-fiction, fantasy, techno-thrillers and horror. Some classic children's literature is also fun---I read "Winnie the Pooh" for the first time when I was in my 40s.
Other interests include: live theatre, fireworks, museums & art galleries, medieval history, astronomy, and inappropriate humour (oops).
